About LARUS Legal
Part of the LARUS Group, LARUS Legal was founded in Mauritius in 2023 as a local law firm with the expertise of its founding lawyer, Yantee Hurnaurn-Calcutteea.
In less than a year having established its presence within the jurisdiction, Dushyant Ramdhur joined the LARUS Legal team in 2024. With his expertise, LARUS Legal is now geared towards being one of the best law firms in Mauritius.
Our heritage
The strategy of the LARUS Group was to expand into the legal industry to meet the requirements of a growing demand for legal expertise in the IP resources industry.
As the Group expanded over the years post pandemic with the move to a more digital world and the increased requirements for the regulation and governance across the IP industry, mainly across Africa and the Indian Ocean region, Mauritius was chosen as the strategic location.
Our future
Having set up its main office in Mauritius, LARUS Legal will soon be expanding through its sister company to provide fiduciary services.
As part of its global presence, LARUS Legal will be opening its London office in the coming months to service its clients based in the UK and Europe.
We are not confined by traditional boundaries and neither should our clients.
