Yantee is a dual qualified lawyer, practising as Attorney at Law in Mauritius and Solicitor in England and Wales.

She has extensive experience in corporate, dispute resolution and arbitration matters, specialising in commercial and corporate litigation with a focus on shareholder disputes, insolvency and restructuring, trust and fund disputes and IT disputes.  
Yantee was a State Scholar and read European law in the U.K. at the University of Nottingham and in France at “Université de Bretagne Occidentale”.

Prior to joining the firm, Yantee was a Senior Associate with the Corporate and Dispute Resolution team at the global offshore law firm Appleby in Mauritius.  
Spearheaded by Yantee, the Dispute Resolution team earned prestigious Tier 1 recognition through high profile complex litigation and significant  arbitration matters.

Prior to joining Appleby, Yantee worked at the law firm, EGR, where she acted in commercial litigation, corporate advisory work, insurance disputes as well as pro bono work involving matrimonial and land disputes. 

She then took up a position as Group Head of Legal Services at Harel Mallac & Co Ltd, a PLC in Mauritius, advising the Board on corporate and transactional matters, corporate governance issues and overseeing legal support in a diversified sector of activities locally and within the African/ Indian Ocean regions.

Yantee speaks English, French and Hindi.
